Variational counterdiabatic driving of the Hubbard model for ground-state preparation

چکیده

Counterdiabatic (CD) protocols enable fast driving of quantum states by invoking an auxiliary adiabatic gauge potential (AGP) that suppresses transitions to excited throughout the process. Usually, full spectrum original unassisted Hamiltonian is a prerequisite for constructing exact AGP, which implies CD are extremely difficult many-body systems. Here, we apply variational protocol recently proposed P. W. Claeys et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 123, 090602 (2019)] two-component fermionic Hubbard model in one spatial dimension. This engages approximated AGP expressed as series nested commutators. We show optimal parameters satisfy set linear equations whose coefficients given squared Frobenius norms these devise algorithm escapes formidable iterative matrix-vector multiplications and evaluates commutators analytic representations. then examine one-dimensional up $L = 14$ sites with order $l \leqslant 3$. Our results demonstrate usefulness permit possible route towards ground-state preparation

Ground state and excitations of the extended Hubbard model

We examine the ground state and excitations of the one dimensional extended Hubbard model with long range interaction. The ground state wavefunction and low lying excitations are given explicitly in the form of a Jastrow product of two-body terms. This result motivates an asymptotic Bethe ansatz solution for the model. We present evidence that this solution is in fact exact and spans the comple...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

The low-energy theory for the Bose-Hubbard model and the normal ground state of bosons

A bosonic realization of the SU(2) algebra and of its vector representation is constructed, and an effective low-energy description of the Bose-Hubbard model in the form of anisotropic theory of quantum rotors is proposed and discussed. A possibility of a normal zero-temperature bosonic phase with neither crystalline nor superfluid order around the tip of the checkerboard-solid lobe at half-int...

Incremental expansions for the ground state energy of the two-dimensional Hubbard model

A generalization of Faddeev’s approach of the 3-body problem to the manybody problem leads to the method of increments. This method was recently applied to account for the ground state properties of Hubbard-Peierls chains (JETP Letters 67 (1998) 1052). Here we generalize this approach to twodimensional square lattices and explicitely treat the incremental expansion up to third order. Comparing ...
